This is a commercial, proprietary license. Key Lair is not open-source software. Source code access does not grant usage rights beyond what is described below.
Upon purchase, Secret Item Games ("Licensor") grants the purchaser ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use one (1) copy of Key Lair on a single domain (including its subdomains), for internal business use.
Each license is tied to the major version of Key Lair current at the time of purchase (e.g. 1.x.x).
1.1.0, 1.2.3) are included in the license at no additional cost.2.0.0) is a separate product and is not covered by this license. Continuing to use a later major version requires purchasing an upgrade, priced separately by the Licensor at the time of that major release. Licensee may continue using the last major version covered by their license indefinitely without upgrading.Licensee may not, without prior written consent from the Licensor:
The Licensor retains full ownership of and all intellectual property rights to Key Lair. This license grants usage rights only; it does not transfer ownership of the software.
Use on each additional domain requires a separate license purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Licensor.
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Licensor is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the software.
This license terminates automatically if Licensee breaches any of its terms. Upon termination, Licensee must cease all use of the software and destroy all copies in their possession.
